The Matthew Road Baptist Church Student Ministry seeks to MEET students where they are and introduce them to Jesus, ENGAGE them as they grow into being mature, devoted followers of Jesus Christ, CONNECT them with the whole body of Christ, and ENCOURAGE them to live out their faith.
To meet students where they are, we mean that our student ministry is focused on getting outside the walls of our church building, and being evangelistic through:
Engaging students means that our student ministry promises to come alongside the families of the students who gather with us and hold each other accountable, push each other to know the Word, and develop as disciple-making disciples who love the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is our heart at MRBC that students would not be isolated from the body of Christ, unheard of from the rest of the church. We want to make sure that our students are involved in the church, serving faithfully, and displaying their developing relationship with Christ.
As a person comes to know Christ, and then develops their faith through serving and personal growth, we want to see them live out what they learn. This means that we desire for the students who come through the MRBC Student Ministry to regularly look for people they can pour into
