          C.      Live out your faith in the marriage so as to show the love of                              Christ to your spouse and your children

Important Note: Just because you CAN file for a divorce, doesn't mean you SHOULD file for a divorce.

 

IV.    If a Marriage Ends, When Is Remarriage Permitted?

          A.      Death of the spouse, I Corinthians 7:39, Romans 7:1-3

          B.      Remarriage to the original spouse, I Corinthians 7:10-11

          C.      Broken marriage covenant due to immorality, Matthew 5:31-32,           Matthew 19:3-9

          D.      Abandonment by an unbeliever who refuses reconciliation,

                   I Corinthians 7:15
