Background: The Nature of Glory

God’s glory is a comprehensive term that describes the summation of all of His attributes.  The glory of God describes all that God is and all that He has done. 

I.       The Veiled Glory of God as seen in the Law, II Corinthians 3:12-13

II.     The Unveiled Glory of God as seen in Christ, II Corinthians 3:14-16

III.    Liberty in Christ, II Corinthians 3:17

          A.      Free from the veiled glory found in the law

          B.      Free from the shame and guilt found in the law

IV.    Transformed in Christ, II Corinthians 3:18

          A.      Laws written on stone do not have the power to transform

          B.      Laws written on our heart have the power to transform

V.      Accomplished by the Work of the Spirit of God not by the Work of the Law
