Life in the Spirit Begins with a Right Mindset, Romans 8:5-8

 

Those who are NOT in Christ Jesus...

1.      Live according to the sinful nature

2.      Set their minds on the things of the sinful nature

3.      Reside in a world of spiritual death

4.      Live in hostility toward God 

5.      Live in rebellion to the righteous standards of God

6.      Cannot please God

 

Those who are in Christ Jesus

1.      Live according to the Spirit

2.      Set their minds on the things of the Spirit

3.      Reside in a world of spiritual life

4.      Live in peace with God

5.      Joyfully submit to the righteous standards of God

6.      Live in a way that pleases God
