Life Under the Law, Romans 7:7-13 

 

Since "we have been released from the Law"...

 

I.       Is the Law a bad thing? NO!

         A.      The Law is good because it identifies sin, verses 7, 12

         B.      Our sinful condition is so dreadful that when we hear the Law we simply use the Law as a greater means to sin, verse 8-11

 

 

II.      Did the Law cause spiritual death to occur in me? NO!

         A.      Sin caused the spiritual death

         B.      The commandments of the Law came to display how sinful we really are
