Nothing Will Separate Us, Romans 8:31-39

 

  1. Assurances in the Final Judgment, Romans 8:31-34

                   "Delivered Him over" "Who will bring a charge?"

                   "God is the one who justifies"

                   "Who is the one who condemns?"

         

  1. God's act of delivering over His own Son for us proves He will completely save us in the Day of Judgment and make us like Christ       
  2. Assurances in the Weighty Dangers of this Life, Romans 8:35-36
  3. Consider the language of life's Dangers

                   "Tribulation" "Distress" "Persecution"

                   "Famine" "Nakedness" "Peril" "Sword"

 

  1. God's act of delivering over His Son for us proves He will not abandon us in the most difficult struggles in this life

 

III.    Assurances for Final Victory, Romans 8:37-39

  1. These troubles are not the sign of defeated, but allow the display of God's conquering love for us to be seen, known and experienced

 

  1. Nothing in the physical realm, spiritual realm, no matter how big or how strong is greater than God's love for us in Christ
