Predestined to Become Conformed to the Image of Christ, Romans 8:28-30

 

Romans 8:28-30 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

 

Our Knowledge of the Providence of God

  1. "And we know..." God is at work
  2. For good, God's good and on His terms, our good

III.    To those who are called

  1. To the purposes of our loving God
  2. Those whom He foreknew
  3. He predestined
  4. To become conformed to the image of His Son
  5. So that Christ would have a great inheritance
  6. He called
  7. He justified
  8. He glorified
