The Resurrection, A Truth Worth Dying For, I Corinthians 15:30-34

The Implications of False Theology

"If there is no resurrection..."

I.       Then even Christ was not raised, vs. 12-13

II.      Then all hope is lost, vs. 14-19

III.    Why are 'they' baptized for the dead?  vs. 29

IV.    Why are 'we' laying down our lives for this message?  vs. 30-32

          A.      Paul risked his life for the Gospel at Corinth

          B.      Paul risked his life for the Gospel in Ephesus

          C.      If there is no resurrection, such risks are foolish

V.      Why not live for pleasure now?  vs. 33-34

Since there is a resurrection, remember that

          A.      Bad theology impacts behavior

          B.      Christian unity cannot exist with theological error
