I.       Fact, Christ was Raised from the Dead, I Corinthians 15:1-11

          A.      The Gospel depends on it

          B.      Scripture predicted it

          C.      The Apostles and many, many others confirmed it

          D.      Paul Himself confirmed it and was transformed by it

 

II.      Confronting Contradictions of the False Teachers, I Corinthians 15:12-34

          A.      If the dead are not raised, then Christ was not raised, vs. 12-13

          B.      If Christ was not raised, all hope is lost, vs. 14-19

                   1. Preaching is in vain

                   2. Your Faith is in vain and worthless

                   3. The apostles are false witnesses

                   4. You are still dead in your sins

                   5. Your loved ones are lost forever

                   6. In other words, we are the most pitiful people in the world

          C.      Since Christ was raised, then all believers in Christ will be raised

          D.      If the dead are not raised, then why does the Corinthian church do such behaviors that are contradictory
