From Matthew Road Statement of Faith…

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal joy of the believer and the endless punishment of the unbeliever.

 

Since We Believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ…

I.       Because He Lives He Will Return to Finish His Mission
II.      Because He Lives He Will Establish an Everlasting Kingdom
III.     Because He Lives We Will Live Forever with Him in His Kingdom
IV.     Because He Lives We Will Receive a Resurrected Body Suitable for His Everlasting          Kingdom
V.      Because He Lives Justice Will Reign Forever for the Believer and the Unbeliever
         A.  The Believer Will Be Judged Based on the Righteous Life of Jesus Christ
         B.  The Believer Will Receive a Reward for Faithful Services of Jesus Christ
         C.  The Unbeliever Will Be Judged Based on their Life Compared to the Righteous                 Life of Jesus Christ
         D.  The Unbeliever Will Receive Just Punishment for Rebellion against Jesus Christ
