We believe that the church is a universal body of believers in all ages from all parts of the world.  We also believe that there is a local church, an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant.

 

I.     We Believe in the Universal Church

       A.  Established…

            1.  By Christ
            2.  For Christ
            3.  Upon Christ

       B.  Ecclesia “Those who have been called out”…

            1.  Of the brokenness of our own sin
            2.  Of the brokenness of the system of this world
       C.  Called into…
            1.  A relationship with God through faith in His Son
            2.  A massive family spanning generations, nations, languages and peoples

 II.    We Believe in the Local Covenant Congregation
        A.  We are a gathering of believers in a loving commitment to each other
        B.  We share a common faith in Christ Jesus as our Savior and Lord
        C.  We share a common baptism whereby we declare our faith in Christ Jesus to
             the world
